Will leaving your CD in the CD Drive even when the computer is off spoil the CD Drive??

Can't see how, unless you have soaked the CD in something nasty. Depending how your computer is set up it may try and boot off the CD when you turn it on again, which is annoying.

From an audio point of view (MY speciality) leaving a cd in the drive does no harm what so ever....as...that is what they are supposed to do...hold cd's.

The ONLY downside I can think of and this probably does not apply to computer drives is that, if the drive breaks...then you're stuck without your cd until it gets fixed, but, computer drives rae easy to open...some cd players are not !

There is not likely to be much harm to the media in leaving the CD in the drive.  The only real harm is that every time the computer is powered up, it will spin up the CD, which could risk a little surface wear on the CD, but not significant considering what the wear a CD is expected to get in ordinary use.

As Neil said, not difficult to release a CD from a jammed drive (unless some very peculiar fault has occurred on the drive).

Biggest problem is that it you make a habit of leaving CDs in the drive, if the CD has a boot sector on it, it will boot when you power up.  I generally don't like leaving any media in drives because you are never sure when they will automatically do something you did not want to happen.
