What is the totality of all existence?

I am not philosophizing here this is cosmological or theoretical physics question, such as is the universe everything?

If the universe is the totality of all existence, then it can account for its own existence. Can it?

Does it then think "Therefore I am"?

If the universe "thinks, therefore it is", then it may be self-creating.  If it is, then conceptually we could find evidence that the  universe contains within itself everything necessary to "think" itself into existence.  Have we found such evidence?
