Most disease is an inflammation process caused by toxins and sugar is an extreme toxin in our modern life and also involved in the proliferation of cancer cells.

I'm not going to convince you. I have only studied functional medicine for 6 years every waking moment, cured myself and seen thousands of recoveries.

No I have not. The OP was asking a question and he and any future reader can look at my suggestion. You are wasting your time and spreading dark ages medicine causing the clear epidemic in disease. Open your eyes.

functional medicine is far from quackery. Sure there are a lot of quacks out there. A lot of them. There are bad people that give a bad name to just about anything. Functional medicine is helping thousands of people through logic and solid science based on evolution. For example, if you think Dale Bredesen's work is quackery then you are a fool.

As for toxins, obviously there is a much deeper definition of toxin. Anything can be toxic if out of balance. If you think it's natural for humans to consume ~150 pounds of sugar per year up from about 2 pounds per year 200 years ago without consequences then good luck on that one too. Then obviously you get into the types of sugars, added refined sugar, protein breaking down into sugar, fructose vs glucose metabolism, simple carbohydrates, complex carbohydrates. Throw the complexity of environmental toxins.

In my experience, anyone with an MD qualification who has gone alternative / integrative, has a skeleton in their closet,
which is the reason they've gone over to "the dark side" : quackery.
