Troll theory: How does gravity work?

Tony asks:

I have yet to understand gravity or hear anyone who can describe this all pervading force. Or is it a force?
Could you possibly try and explain gravity and how it works?

Anyone want to give it a go?

Gravity is the force that keeps  things on the ground .

Gravity is a linear force that can curve spatial fields (space-time curvature).

Gravity is the force that causes all natural universal motion .

The mechanics of gravity is : The positive and negative charge of matter is attracted to other positive and negative charges of other matter .

I thought these did not exist .Can you show how they  do?

The Cavendish experiment, performed in 1797–1798 by British scientist Henry Cavendish, was the first experiment to measure the force of gravity between masses in the laboratory[1] and the first to yield accurate values for the gravitational constant.[2][3] Because of the unit conventions then in use, the gravitational constant does not appear explicitly in Cavendish's work. Instead, the result was originally expressed as the specific gravity of the Earth,[4] or equivalently the mass of the Earth. His experiment gave the first accurate values for these geophysical constants.

The experiment was devised sometime before 1783 by geologist John Michell,[5][6] who constructed a torsion balance apparatus for it. However, Michell died in 1793 without completing the work. After his death the apparatus passed to Francis John Hyde Wollaston and then to Cavendish, who rebuilt the apparatus but kept close to Michell's original plan. Cavendish then carried out a series of measurements with the equipment and reported his results in the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society in 1798.[7]

A positive charge is attracted to a negative charge and vice versus .

When a positive charge and a negative charge are converged to form a neutral charge measure , the convergence forms a weak force namely gravity . A neutral mass attracts both negative and positive charge , a neutral mass also attracts other  neutral mass but with less acting force as the convergence of pos and neg creates an equilibrium of forces .

This does not sound to me like the current theory of General Relativity.I am not aware that a positive or a negative  gravitational charge has ever been isolated.

Have you any documentation that does show this ,or ,failing that why  they exist despite not being shown experimentally to exist?

General relativity doesn't explain gravity , it explains an effect of gravity which is space-time curvature .

Newton explains gravity in basic detail correctly as a linear force between masses . This linear force of gravity of mass curves space-time energy by applying a linear force on the tensor linear force of spatial fields , hence curving the fields towards the mass .

Additionally a proton has a positive charge and an electron a negative charge , the existence is already cataloged !

Does your suggestion make any testable predictions that differ from those made by General Relativity?

Drivel, I'm afraid. Protons, electrons, positrons and neutrons are all subject to gravitation. It is a property of mass, not charge nor the absence of charge.

As far as the original question is concerned, nobody knows! We know from everyday experience that massive bodies attract each other, and from very sophisticated experiments that massive bodies warp spacetime, but how they do it, or why the gravitational mass of a body is the same as its inertial mass, is by no means clear. Yet. No big deal. It took the best part of 2000 years to demonstrate that Aristotle was wrong, and 400 years to improve on Newton, so don't expect an answer this week!

Light does not contain electric charges. It is still pulled by gravity. So your idea is wrong.

This linear force of gravity
Gravity isn't linear.
It's 2nd order in mass and 1/r^2 in distance.

I do not believe gravity is a force at all. Consider the Moon in orbit around the Earth. The moon is not travelling in a circle (orbit) around the Earth it is travelling in a straight line. But the mass of the Earth has relocated the the points in space along the line to points in space that appear nearer the Earth. These relocated points form a circle. But it is the fabric  of space that has been curved around the Earth. It is not a force that keeps the Moon in orbit - it is the road it travels has been warped into a circle by the mass of the Earth.

No, curved space time is not an effect of gravity, curved space time is gravity.
