f(x) = xn + x. Both n and x can be any number.
 An example is 7 * 4 = y Then
7 * 4 +  7 = 35 And with a negative multiplier
7 * (-4 ) + (7) = -21

Both 35 and -21 are 28 away from 7. And since I am pursuing research in atmospheric chemistry, when
someone tells me it cannot work, then what is the answer? Can a rate of change suggest a relationship
with any observation? Does the above math show a rate of change based on any number being multiplied
by any other number?
 Of course mat (мать) means food, mother, word, etc. If I were a native English speaker (I lived in Norway when
learning to talk) so 2bcolin will ban me for not knowing the difference between a chip, biscuit or lift. And in
Engleske a mat is something you walk on.

 And for me to be an a$$hole, place a 1 dollar note on the table. Then place another next to it. How many times was that 1 dollar multiplied? How many [sets] of 1 did you add to it?  And @Bored chemist, because you asked, I answered. Math you should know but is not taught in school. School teaches multiplying set values. And before about 1500 there was no 0 so to go from 1 to -1 meant moving one place in a number line. No one ever adjusted math to account for the 0 when it was added. Why I created 2 solutions. That allows for the value of 0 when 0 has no value or meaning. Il est vrais. Pourqui? You have to speak the right language the right way.
 And with me, I do like why the tropopause is a barrier. And for me to receive credit for realizing that, I can't discuss it.
This is because if I explained it to someone then they are teaching me. It would be seen as I didn't know so they were guiding me.

Are you talking about the exponential function, where the rate of growth is proportional to its current value?
- This sort of effect may be seen in bank interest,  the growth of computer chip complexity and the spread of a pandemic
