Is there some ant like a Army ant or Indian ant or some thing.
Maybe some one died on there ant bed and the ants replicated some chromazone appearence grew in size and became sub human troglodytes by the millions living under ground but still blood thirsty for human revenge?
The ants would be secretive of course and could be consider religiously holy after all they come from a hole in the ground and now can sway human population of votes in their favor for them to inhabit the surface of the earth.
