How big is the ear canal?
« on: 23/10/2007 09:42:02 »
I'm just wondering - I've been getting my ears candled because all the impurities (muck, wax, etc.)  [xx(] were pretty much deafening me.  I half expect to find out that Al Capone's vault was empty because he used my ears instead...how big is the ear canal anyway? [O8)]

The human ear canal extends from the pinna to the eardrum and is about 26 mm in length and 7 mm in diameter.

And the amp your mythicguitar is plugged into has nothing to do with your deafness...

The singer told Billboard that his years at the helm of legendary rockers The Who have left him nearly stone deaf.

How do you get your ears candled? Is it as it sounds and a candle is shoved up your ears? Surely not? Its just I've never had it done cause there's no need...
