Dearest Tongue Twisters and lovers of the colour yellow ,

I recently finished my third course of antibiotics in a row !!..three different types in three weeks !! ......The back of my tongue became very yellow.....I was told that it was because of the antibiotics......

...why do antibiotics turn my tongue yellow ? (it' all gone now)

The first batch was the usual Amoxcyllin.(Penicillin)..the other two I'm afraid I can not recall...but they were specific to my ear infection...which is still infected and making me thoroughly miserable too !!... [:-'(] [:-'(]

I wonder, seeing as antibiotics kill good and bad bacteria...could this lead to some sort of fungus becoming dominant?

i thought that the above named yogurt only helped with the digestive system.

I am not sure, but I know that it helps recoop good bacteria too.. Any yogurt is good for that after antibiotics!

My tongue is now better.......Oh poo !!...AHH !!...now I remember where I think I heard it...in fact I read it on the leaflets as a side effect !!...You are right about the fungal luff !!....yeuch !!!....ewe should have seen it...it was like my tongue was a furry banana !

Glad it is all better... LOL.. You should have taken a picture for the site... LOL then we would know what it looks like to have "fungal luff" upon ones tongue! LOL!

Could you even feel the difference with your fingers in the texture of your tongue whilst it had this coloring etc? Well.....um I mean you know.. other then just looking that way did it have a funny texture to touch, rougher if you will??

I never knew about it ...it was right at the back...it was something my acupuncturist pointed out to me. Every time I go there I have to stick my tongue out at her for a few minutes.....she then draws it...which is nice !!!

But when I saw it I went "YEUCHH "...and I could scrape it !!...erhhchhh !!

But..as I said..it's all gone !!.YAYYYYYYYYY !!

HUH That is interesting! What does she see in YOUR tongue besides the obvious tongue related Goodness? Does she measure it...? Draws it for what purpose does it change during the course of treatment for some reason? LOL!

Yep...she covers it in ink and then I have to make tongue prints on her wall !!..between you and me I think she's just using me to decorate her office !!

....Oh...and then my tongue swells like a like a big old doggys tongue and she has to rub my feet till my nose turns purple !

OH how fun!!! I want my feet rubbed do I have to lick a wall and make tongue wall paper prints to get my feet rubbed.. Sounds like you are having lots of fun in therapy! Are you sure that is acupunture and not acupleasure??? LOL!
