     Ben moved with the rest of his squad and the new member to a transport. Ben was only slightly amused that one of the objectives on his HUD was, "Keep transport operational." How did the Admiral think they were going to get back. He checked his rifle, grabbed some more ammo and climbed in.
     The transport was well built. Ben knew they were moving, he just couldn't feel it. The ride there was in complete silence, with the exception of the few times the Tech tried to start a coversation, she didn't get beyond grunts and one word answers though. Ben took the time to sleep, he didn't care how fast the trip was going. His philosophy was, "If you aren't piloting it, you better be sleeping in it." Look at me, Ben thought, a big tough veteran. He'd barely been through one fight. The transport stopped and the big door in the back opened up. The squad filed out, one by one. They were on top of a mountain of snow and ice, down below at the bottome of the slope was the comm jammer.
     Finding their way down the slope was treacherous. Besides it being obviously slippery, there were also icicles that could kill you if you ran into them to fast. The finally reached the bottom and came to a hastily set up chain fence. The Tech used some sort of gadget to slice through and they all crawled under. Travis took point, using his knife to dispatch two guards quietly. There were four buildings all spaced out evenly from the corner of the central device. As soon as an alarm went off, they'd be surrounded. To make matters worse, the area was well lit on the open ground between them and jammer.
     "That's the jammer?" Ben asked, hardly believing they would make a jammer that big.
     "No, that's the building to put it in to keep it away from the elements. It also acts as an amplifier." The Tech responded. Ben nodded.
     "How do we get the lights down?" Jack asked.
     "That small building, there. It's probably a security hub. We get inside, hack the computer and shut down the lights." The Commander said.
     "Won't people notice that?" Ben questioned.
     "Not if we're lucky." The squad quickly moved around the perimeter to the security hub. Travis picked the lock silently and slowly pushed open the door. There was one man asleep in front of a wall of monitors.
     "Hmm, what?" The rebel questioned, blurry eyed. Travis promptly stabbed him in the back of the neck.
     "Alright, do your thing." Jack said. The Tech moved forward, avoiding the dead body and hacked the computer.
     "Too easy, it should be okay to shut out the lights without system alarm. Wait a second..."
     "What is it?" Ben asked, anxious.
     "The rebels found something, this security hub has something like a on line announcement. It's telling them to rejoice, they found a lead."
     "To what?" The Commander asked grimly.
     "'The Protectors'?" The Tech read, confused.
     "Pull the data, shut out the lights. We'll take it back to HQ." The tech nodded and typed into the keyboard. Minutes later, the lights turned off and the Tech was pocketing her gadget. The squad cautiously left the security hub, but no troops were outside yelling alarm. They quickly moved toward the jammer, fear and adrenaline spurring them on.

Other then that the week has went purdy swell. Still debating on if I should go/take Kayla to homecoming. Which ain't until like 2 weeks, but i'm debatingg lol

Thanks for the compliments on my story everyone. I'm usually don't share them because I'm afraid of everyone hating it and me getting embarrassed. Then I get all these compliments and get embarrassed anyway.  [:-[] []

     The squad soon reached the center building, in no time at all, Travis had assassinated the guards and the tech disabled the cameras. There was a large console at the center and the tech moved to hack it. Soon, she was shaking her head.
     "Almost unhackable without the codeword." She said, the Commander and Travis took up defense and look-out, while Ben and the Tech set the charges. The Tech set plenty of time on the charges to escape and they ran out, they reached the fence after what seemed like forever, and quickly crawled under. The timer on Ben's HUD read 0:30. He scrambled up the hill and was halfway up when the facility exploded. Alarms went off and soldiers flooded out of their bunkers. Spot lights were hard at work to spot the intruders, but Ben's squad was already in the transport and headed back to base.
