I believe the coastline is increasingly already becoming so (as it was during the Viking era). How far this will go inland is open to speculation.

It isn't open to speculation. The ice cap in Greenland will be gone in another 50 year EVEN IF the temperature stabilizes at present levels. In the last 15 years the ice cap in the center of the island has melted 150 meters and the melting is speeding up. There will not be a Greenland ice cap is there is not a drastic cool down in the weather soon - 10 years max.
