Primarily I drink fizzy water from a disposeable bottle (which can be reused) and still water from the tap.

Sorry... I fixed the question: How do you drink your water ON THE GO?

I would hope everyone just drinks from a cup at home.

Shall we try again?

Disposable plastic bottles that I then recycle or reuse myself!

From the perspective of protecting the environment, I rarely drink water[ as if https://www.netpng.com/pdetail/TTThbR_clipart-drink-water-png/ [nofollow]] from plastic bottles that cannot be reused. It not only pollutes the environment, but also adversely affects the human body. At home, I use a glass to drink water. I think this is the safest.

I learned long ago to carry apples when flying or driving a long distance. Good sugar/water balance, no waste (I eat the cores) no splashing over the instrument panel (Coke cans at 10,000 ft are lethal), you never need both hands off the controls, and the transit time from mouth to bladder is much longer! There's a water bottle for emergencies, but it's only ever opened when the vehicle is stationary. And if you are walking, cycling or running, an apple is a lot easier to handle than a bottle of liquid.

While in office used to drink water in plastic or copper bottles and while in home with silver tumblers.

You can eat an apple while running?

If you are running away from a predator, or to catch a bus, you probably wouldn't bother to drink. If you are running for pleasure, why not admire the view for a few seconds while you eat an apple? And even whilst moving, it's no more difficult than drinking from a bottle, with less waste and more sugar.

Come to think of it, we are a very odd species. Despite being very inefficient runners, I think we are the only species that runs for more than a mile at a time, for no reward.

Have drank un-sweetened iced tea in a disposable styrofoam cup for decades.  Add plastic lid and straw for mobility.  My cup lasts about 2-3 days depending upon cat activity.

I believe we are the most efficient runners on the planet.  We can out endure and bring down any prey.  But, running is for the young and inpatient(buck fever).....with just a few rocks and spears we can ambush them when they drink.   In the cool of the morning/evening.  That's real efficiency.
