Anything by John Irving, or Alex Garland. Also: A Handmaids Tale, The Chrysalids, Clockwork Orange, and a variety of Alice Munro's short stories. And I'm a big fan of all things Shakespeare.

See Spot Run deserves legendary status.

To be honest.....I don't read novels...I do try !......I prefer things like encyclopedias and factual books.....I love easy reading science books.....astronomy etc...............something which gives me instant facts !.....BUT...I wish I could sit and relax long enough to read novels......I have in the past.....I even still buy the odd one and they usually gather dust !!

LOL....there's not really a load of " Ring Books " to read at all in fact !....I just know how we make them, and the different types of metals and the issues regarding the nature of costing a particular ring that a client wants made.

It's not as if I receive 'RING MONTHLY' or something !!...however...I do receive a Jewelery trade magazine which...if you're into jewelery and precious metals/gems is actually very interesting !!....

Ryan....I am sure...that if we got stuck in a lift together for 24 hours, there's nothing that would bring a smile to your face more than me talking to you all about the nature of rings !!..oh yes indeed !!..LOL !! [;D]
