Yes, it's true !!..even I have to place my bags through Airport X-Ray machines !!...I know ....Incredible isn't it ?...don't these people know who I am ?

Anyway, I'm not too sure if ewe can see it...but my sandwich revealed itself in all it's beef steak and salad glory !

But, now that it's had a dose of Airport X-ray goodness and luff......Is it still safe to eat ?



Please hurry.....I'm hungry and although I'm in the first class lounge with an ' all you can eat buffet'......i still want my sandwich !

Your sandwich is more safe than before, bacteriologically (because those X-rays have destroyed some microorganisms) so it should even be preserved for a slightly longer time, from this point of view. The radiation however should have produced some toxic free radicals inside the chemicals and I don't know if the amounts could be considered completely safe.

Lots of things, like dried herbs are treated with radiation to give them a longer shelf life!
