I am whipped.. but it really was cool got some shots of Lake Shasta from the bridge and the trinity alps .. I hope they turn out good!

Tomorrow is a big day.. doctor appointments etc.. we will see..

I wish you all could have come with me..... it was a nice view and very pretty.. I hope to see it again someday...Makes you think about what is important.... and how beautiful this Planet of ours is.. Astonishing really... icy cold sparkling water shimmering in the sun.. and the sound of children around me.. and under the bridge in total awe of what they were seeing.. I felt like the Queen of the mountain up there with the breeze in my hair and the sun warming my face... It was awesome.. peaceful, squirrels, dogs, children, old folks, young folks, teenagers and lots and lots of warm open smiles!!! It was a very comforting feeling.

We got to go to the bridge and I made it all the way across with lots of protest on Bob and Sarah's part! Tried to make me ride in the dang blasted wheelchair!!! Really peeved me!   I had to stop many times to rest and almost did not make it so I sat down and rested in the shade for 20 minutes drank something cool and then we started back across.

You did well - never give up, no matter how tough it seems.  Take it slowly (even if it does irritate the hell out of everyone else - and I should know - I've been the everyone else on occasion), but at least you know you made it.  Once you start giving up, it becomes increasingly difficult to go back to where you were.

 Thanks George...I was very glad to hae been able just to make it from the parking lot to the foot of the bridge. I made it all the way across and over to there  to a garden area and loo. both of which I really needed to visit!!! LOL!
 we sat under an umbrellad are and I had some cool tea.. then just rested. we had to stop more going back s I was pretty much done for..

Sarah had to fetch the car and meet us at the foot of the bridge... I couldnt even keep  my knees from buckling the last couple hundred feet.. but I was still standing at the end.. supported but standing....was whiped out and upon sitting was out cold for a bit!
