Ho Hum - I'm in Georgia right now, sitting in the hospital waiting room. My Dad is supposed to be having his angioplasty today. They were supposed to take him in two hours ago!

Wake up at 7 go to school, after school get on a bus to go to scholastic bowl, after scholastic bowl go to soccer work out, after that go to relgion and that means i still have to do homework after i get home after 9. ugh

Thanks Karen. He's doing well. Mom and I just got back home (her home). Hopefully we'll get to bring him home tomorrow morning.

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!! I am glad... Those darn things can be nerve racking! It is hard when you are lying there and watching the monitor as the probe moves through your arteries.. Quite scarry!

I am glad that he is well. Did they put him out or give him a general?

I would think at his age and the procedure they might put him out. I was awake.. But I did not have to have the stints!

He had one done a month ago and he was put completely under, accidentally. They were supposed to put two stents in then, but because of the sleep apnea and his leg was twitching they could only do one. This time they kept him awake.

He did so well with the last one, when they released him the next day he went hunting as soon as he got home.

Probably because the rain may have iced everything over on the road if it is very cold or there is snow on the road!..Could be black ice!
