How can it do what it does without a tail propeller ?

Perhaps it uses Jet exhaust or gyroscopic device of some kind.

 Is it possible to direct the exhaust back to the tail..
and have it blow out that way to stabilize the  fusilodge.....like a tail rudder..?   Do you have  a closer up picture? Well maybe my screen is to small....I will look later on big screen.

The helicopter has specially curved surfaces on its tail. Air jets are sent out along these surfaces creating a circular motion in the air. If any fluid is directed along a curved surface it will tend to carry on curving after it leaves the surface. It is a NOTAR system that was developed by Boeing.

So thats cool. it does then use the jet exhaust or air....it is interesting thats how they direct the air.. but aerodynamics have really came a long way... its amazing what the simp changes in the lines can make!  thanks for sharing that ""NOTAR SYSTEM" term and THE explanation....!! how long have they been  using that design?
