Hot water seems to remove oils and grease better- I always assumed the heat made them more liquid so easier to clean than if they were solid?
Old enough to have a grandson
Slow enough to study rocks
Thirsty enough to find a pub

yes and it is to do with the way that they melt into the hot water I guess also if you are using any type of washing up liquid too.

Helps to dry them off faster, IMO !
