Why do volcanoes trigger lightning?
« on: 07/05/2008 23:08:14 »
Take a look at this article on the volcano in chili. This has to be the best environmental picture I have ever seen. Can anyone beat it?

Great picture.  Nature's awesome power (and so far this is a small eruption).

I must point out the facts: chili is a bowl of meat cooked to a spicy hot perfection according o traditional Mexican recipes. Some heretical people put beans in this dish.  Chile, on the other hand is a country in South America dominantly due to Nazca tectonic plate being subducted beneath the South American continent.

The paradox is that volcanic emanations are the results of both chili and Chile. Those from chili are somewhat more sever than curry.

Don't I know it! I had a stonking hot chilli the other evening.

By the way, do you know that the hottest chilli peppers in the world are grown in... ENGLAND!

Just a quick note to thank JimBob for showing us how well qualified he is to comment on spelling.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I had a secretary for too many years who did all of my typing. I got lazy and my brain still doesn't grow new gray cells with the proper creases for things such as "severe vs. sever."

Programmers need to develop A.I. spell-checkers.
