No, not really, but I don't have time to be sick so I may as well get over it.  I'm in Georgia.  My Dad is in the hospital.  He's had a heart attack and has congestive heart failure.

Thanks Karen.  He seems to be doing pretty well.  Still don't know what's going to happen. The surgeon was supposed to look over the test results today, but they haven't seen him.  Hopefully we'll know more tomorrow.  It's almost 2 am here and I can't sleep.  I forgot all of my medicines and I can't stop coughing!

OH Man.. Carolyn.. call your Doctor explain what has happened and have her or him call you in an emergency prescription to the place you are at.. They are usually really good about that... have her get you a couple weeks as you may be awhile... 

There is a lot to learn about with this.. I still don't understand the whole deal.. there are different stages.. they will let you know when they get him examined some more.. Hows your mom doing?

She's doing pretty well.  She's sleeping now.  She hadn't had anything to eat today, so I took her out to dinner and they live an hour away from the hospital, so I got a hotel room nearby so she could get some rest and not worry about being so far away.

I'm going to try and get my meds, but I may just deal with over the counter stuff for now.  Just really need something for this cold. 

Haven't told my daughter yet.  We've been debating as to whether to tell her or not as she only has two more days of classes and a big final on Thursday.  I think I'll probably tell her tomorrow after her class.  She is going to be furious that we didn't tell her.

I am glad you are all there for each other. Make sure you all try to rest there will be a lot of mental digestion happening over the next few weeks and then later in the months to come...A lot of emotional things happening..

Yeah, hope everythings alright. Todayy wasn't much at the fair for me. Just kids day for my sister and her friend. Same for tomorrow, but my sister has a dog show..

We've got so much rain this summer its just so crazy. We got alot of rain/snow over the winter and alot last summer. Ugh, even though I like the rain haha

Yes, she is.  They've been married for 45 years....since she was 15 so she's pretty shaken, she's broken down a few times, but overall she's doing pretty well.

He's doing pretty well, he was up walking around today.  He has to have triple bypass surgery, probably next Tuesday.  He's mad that they won't let him go home before then.

Well I understand that.. I feel that a lot when I land in the hospital and they say those things.. you feel like you will never see your home and family again and you just want to go home and make sure things are just so before you have to go under as it is frightening...
I find myself mad too.. but mostly at myself for not have been taking care of myself as I should.. have.. I wish your Daddy well Carolyn... and all of you....Hugs Good Luck Tuesday!

Hey Ryan I posted Nathans picture in the pictures of ourselves.. He is in his dress greens! I have more in his camo but have not uploaded them yet!


Hay his acne has cleared.. they took the first piccy's in camo and the dress blues a couple weeks ago and his acne from when he started to the end of boot cfamp cleared up! LOL

They are not allowed to eat junk food. No vending machines candy etc etc.. LOL He looked great!
