My female tortoiseshell cat has broken her back right leg and
I am taking her to the vet on Saturday morning at 9am.

She's growling at me in pain and I am so worried about her.  []

I'm sorry to hear about your cat - in my youth I had any number of cats - they are possibly the least sane animal ever, but you've got to love them! I have consequently been through the same and there are emergency vets if needed. I hope that all will be OK!

Thanks but I've got 2 cats and the younger one is fine, just like me worried and sad.
Also I am keeping her warm, she's sleeping now.
I will let you know how she is when we get back from the vet tomorrow.

Awwww, poor kitty.  Hope she's going to be alright.

Carolyn that's kind and she's been to the vet this morning and
it was a thorn that had got into her paw but deeply (sorry badly explained) The vet had to sedate her slightly so she's not her usual self. Antibiotics 1 pill twice a day from tomorrow.
It's a huge relief but the bill wasn't.

I wasn't able to see them Ryan.  I couldn't view them from my page because it said we weren't friends [:-'(], and Nic couldn't remember his password so we couldn't view it from his page either.

Glad about the cat, and that it wasn't as serious as suspected. Convalescence cat eh? I used to have chicken soup as a get well thing. Not sure how well that will work with a cat ??

Thanks and no chicken soup wouldn't work on the cats (I have 2) but it does work for me. yes it's convalescence cat but she's grumpy at not being allowed out. Oh well it's better that have
her walking badly again.

Karen so am I very relieved for her only now I'm in "trouble" with the cats as I can't let them out for a few days.

The vet's bill was expensive but less than he'd estimated originally. Although I've got to take her back for a check-up on her paw in the middle of the week.

I am fine just sleepy.
