Popping Corn with Cellphones - Danger ! Danger !.
« on: 11/06/2008 23:52:45 »
We finally have the compelling evidence of how dangerous cellphones are as revealed in the below 3 different videos on youtube which show 4 cellphones popping corn right in front of your eyes.

That's right folks dangerous radiation is strong enough to pop corn.

This proves that cellphones cause tumours and cancer.

The videos are by the French race,Chinese race and Unknown race and come from 3 different continents.

Watch and Weep and remember what is happening to your brain every time you use a cellphone to tell your boyfriend how much you spewed after drinking too much.

Basically, you're hitting the popcorn with the same kind of waves that a microwave uses, which is actually really scary. Now, while a microwave oven is using way more power than a cellphone, also remember that the microwave is cooking (normally) a lot more than 3 or 4 kernels, and that the kernels are closer to the source of the power in the case of the cellphones than in the microwave, and wave power drops off sharply with distance. Now imagine a small microwave exposed oven next to your brain as you make a call.

I urge everyone to show these videos to your family and friends and spread the word about how dangerous these cell phones really are before these videos get suppressed by cell phone makers.I strongly urge you to save the videos to your hard drive and email/bluetooth them to your network friends as corporate companies will try to get them suppressed.

I mean if 4 phones can pop corn then just think of the damage 1 phone is doing to your brain from the microwave radiation.

But the other hoax videos showing mobile phones allegedly cooking an egg are still up on youtube, and have been for years.  Why are you so paranoid?  It's your paranoia that led to you falling for this hoax, and then posting these videos with ridiculous comments like:

Quote
This proves that cellphones cause tumours and cancer.

When it clearly does nothing of the sort.  If it were real, it would show that mobile phones induce local warming, not cancer.  But it's not real, so it proves nothing.

How unobservant does someone have to be in order to believe that sort of thing?
I mean, surely you would notice that lots of people have used 'phones for ages and their brains have not been cooked.
Weird!

I see you are allied to the makers of these cell phones.

You are totally wrong again.A corn kernal is solid and heat will cause moisture to expand and pop it where as the human brain is 10000 times bigger and porous/spongy to moisture and the heat is spread over a larger volume of over 10000 times, hence it does not explode but you learn about it when a MRI scan reveals a deadly tumour and you only have 6 months left to live.

You are a very paranoid person, and also very wrong.

The reason popcorn 'pops' because the microwaves heat the water, which eventually leads to the denaturing of proteins in the seed.  It's not the 'expansion of the water'.  The fact that you don't understand the science suggests that you should rethink your opinions.  Scare mongering about cancer is an unpleasant thing to do.

If all this is true, I wonder why they don't run microwave ovens off AAA batteries. There is clearly no significant energy involved with cooking.

If this is true can someone please do the maths as to whether it's cheaper to make popcorn this way instead of the microwave oven ! ?

...hmmm...four phones ringing four phones plus quantity of popcorn = cheaper than M'waving them or not ?

I'd like to know before Christmas please because if it is cheaper .....(but I can only make one or two popcorns at a time)........ then I need to start now for New Years Eve .

It is not a hoax. The fact it was moved to this section proves it.

The fact is they got the owner of the site to move it this section just proves how powerful corporate interests are.I can only wonder what threats were used.

I hope the owner has not been harmed.

Actually, it was me who just suggested that should this thread (pending proof) be moved to the this section.

That was all.

There was no threat and it seemed like the wisest thing to do considering the nature of the data !

Well, if it's on youtube...

Have you tried replicating the results yourself? For such a simple experiment it may be better to have conducted this yourself and then posted/ed your own results. Are you willing to do that?
