I'm training for a better mile time next year in track. Should I run one mile many times or five or so miles at a time?
Thanks Sim [

Were you a horse, I'd suggest that you varied your training distance and included some hill work to aid your cardiovascular fitness and muscle strength, and at different paces according to fitness. Certainly helps a horse in a sprint finish... but you are not a horse.
