A regular tanker load of human and animal wastewater discharged onto the Namibian Desert and watch it transform the sands into a thriving forest and watch the rains return.

I will buy more CDs from a local store, Woolworths or Amazon which is my usual method of purchasing music.

I have Pete Seeger and his sister, Peggy also her OH, Ewan MacColl

Classical, some musicals. Not sure which ones yet. I'll know when I see them.

Yes Karen it would work. Writing a book about this project in the hope that someone might pick it up and run with it.

Most countries with water shortages and desert conditions use their own waste water and graw forests and fodder for livestock. They still have an inherent lack of water and the only way to address this is to import vast quantities of salt free water enriched with all the organic material required to transform sand into soil that holds water.

That would be cool.. How often would this have to happen and how large of an area would that have to incorporate!

The whole point of this project is that it encourages developed countries to recycle their massive waste water problem so there will never be a shortage of ballast and as long as oil is flowing from the floor there will be no shortage of tankers providing the transport. 1 tanker delivering a load every month would irrigate and maintain the land until forest is established. Then when the land has achieved a value it can be sold to be developed and inhabited under strict environmental management. Once forestry is in place instead of hot dry sand rain will fall and this happens on small islands where forested coastline milks the clouds and desert coastlines scorch without rain for many months. Google earth over forested islands and you can see the moisture laden clouds hugging the land and blocking the sun.

A hundred tankers and we have a new fertile land emerging from the desert sands a hundred tankers x 5 years and we have turned a desert into a bread basket to feed the starving millions in Africa

On Earth magazine
Regenerating the desert  (sent to Oasis by post from New York) 30/1/96
The Overseas Agricultural Sewage Irrigated Soils-(OASIS) Project aims to regenerate irrigate and propagate desert areas.
The project echoes the vision of Richard St Barbe Baker, who was interested in fertilizing and irrigating arid areas of North Africa The organisers are hoping to interest the governments of Egypt, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Morocco and Ethiopia, in the scheme.
The driving forces behind OASIS are Andrew Fletcher, Adrian Van Zweden, David Perret Green and Adrian Sanders.
OASIS writes:- The Sahara has not always been a desert; there is abundant evidence of Tropical rain forest from fossilized tree trunks and also of men made weapons. In fact most of the worlds deserts were created by deforestation. But now the process is accelerated. Once it took a thousands of  years to create deserts, whilst in recent times five years is enough.
It is possible to reverse desertification. Within desert regions there exists a convection system which at present is continually circulating hot dry air.
In the Sahara for example, the sun recycles hot air drawn from the exposed North Coastline, taken to the Equator and returned. The wind system is also circular.
To break this cycle vast amounts of water are needed preferably waste water, at the North Coast. This would reverse the existing cycle by circulating moist, cooling air, rising and falling as rain in the desert and promoting growth from the night dew and a basis for reforestation.
This effect can be seen in several places around the world such as Morocco where desert reclamation and reforestation was begun forty years ago, and to a lesser extent on the Fuengerola coastline in Spain, where new building, in an otherwise arid area together with new water supplies have led to a wetter local micro-climate, as the water was used for small scale cultivation.

A go-kart, so I can take it to the track and race all day on my day off. But then i'd need a trailer to transport it around, and then i'd need somewhere to put them both as there's no room at my unit, so then i'd need a house!

I used to have a couple in the 80's. I had hours and hours of fun with them. They were a new thing then so I could make the neighbours think it was thundering and other mad things as most people hadn't heard of them.

Are you into electropop because if you are you should google David Ball. He is the master!

Let's get real. GO FOR IT!

I want Windsor Castle for my private residence, a Ferrari Testarossa, a Rolls Royce Silver Shaddow, a wife who is a former prostitute turned gourmet cook and who also owns a liquor store. About 3 billion dollars a year income to play with would be the last part of the dream.

I could live like that.
