When our last brat kid was born...we were asked if we wouldn't mind having his ' cord blood 'being used for stem cell research !


Look, here's a stem cell !!

I'd like to know what exactly is a stem cell ?..and why is it such a valuable research tool ?

I want to say that unlike a regular cell, that stem cells can Renew Themselves, or replicate.... something like that.. Someone correct me if I am wrong..
