Is Turnipsock really Cadel Evans?
« on: 16/07/2008 23:00:59 »
Just been watching Tour de France and noticed the current holder of the yellow jersey looks a little bit like our very own Turnipsock. I'm sure it is not him as Cadel Evans is a nasty piece of work that likes insulting and assaulting hapless Journalists. He also has an Aussie accent. As Turnie hasn't posted for a few days I wondered if he might be conserving energy for the mountain stages.

I presume you mean Scottish Jocks and not the American Sporting Jocks?

You are all wrong but it's nice for Turnipsock I hope all the same,
I guess that our Scotsman has been watching the Tour de France,
or been busy elsewhere.

Turnipsock let us know that you are ok please?

I can't see a resemblance. Maybe Shazza recognises his helmet.

That 1 in white can see something funny.

Yes, but you are a true cyclist. The average Joe would respect medals much more. If he wants to be a rich man I would advise going back to train.

The 2008 Yellow Jersey leaving the podium.

Me with Miguel Martinez.

As you can see we are clearly wearing different hats.

Why did they paste him to that board? Was it for a new Solvite advert?
