I gather that Oxford has built a new chemistry  dept since I was there.
I'm not sure what else has changed because I haven't been back very often.

I can tell you what it was like when I was there (84 to 88)
Perhaps there's someone here who can tell us both what it is like now.

Mb he means some changes on this river. However, I don't see any differences, except in the number of staff and faculties. Besides, I don't know how interesting the universities' materials are, but I read an article from one of these two colleges about the "Play It as It Lays" book by Joan Didion. It attracted me so much that I went on newbielink:https://freebooksummary.com/category/play-it-as-it-lays [nonactive] to read the free book summary and understand the plot better. It is an unusual story of a ruthless dissection of American life in the late 1960s and gender inequality. The novel opens a mood for an entire generation. Finally, I like the colleges because I studied their activity and there is a lot of literature.
