If you 'chase the sun', when will it become tomorrow?
« on: 03/10/2008 22:01:21 »
Ady GMail  asked the Naked Scientists:

Hi there

I've always wondered, as I travel quite extensively across many time zones, what would happen if you continually chased the sun in an aeroplane? In other words, if you continually flew westwards, what would happen to time? At which point does your 'chasing' end, or when do you move forward to the next day??

Thanks a ton

When you cross the international dateline. It runs down the Pacific between America and Asia.
