As a sheepy, I am course a natural flotation device, always at hand to help a damsel in distress...

....Though, sometimes in my eyes, I also have floating things and they look exactly like these !

I test positive for several vector-borne infections, including Lyme, babesia, bartonella, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, and typhus. I'm not sure which bug is responsible, but they've gone down (some anyway) with doxycycline.

Doctors will tell you that they are normal, but then why would antibiotics help? I believe they are essentially microorganisms hat the lens of your eye is magnifying.

Yeah, sure, but for the rest of us floaters refer to these.

 - such as vector-borne diseases, like bartonella (Cat Scratch Fever), which happens to be notorious for causing retinal disease, is underdiagnosed and underreported, and comes from fleas, ticks, and such.
