Neil Robinson asked the Naked Scientists:

What is the best way to pull a cracker to ensure the prize everytime, without cheating?

What do you think?

Cheating means to try to gain an advantage by unfair means. If I told you the way to pull a cracker to ensure getting the prize, that would give you an unfair advantage so it would still amount to cheating.

Pull both ends yourself.

Dressing smart. Clean teeth (most important) Gorgeous smile, staying sober and letting the other lads get pissed and destroy their chances of pulling the Real Cracker. The gift is the love of my life. And it don't have to be Christmas either.
Science is continually evolving. Nothing is set in stone. Question everything and everyone. Always consider vested interests as a reason for miss-direction. But most of all explore and find answers that you are comfortable with

You must be the only person in the world who wanted something that came out of a cracker. [::)]

I've seen otherwise perfectly sane, rational people express delight when conptemplating the rubbishy trinket that fell into their pudding - once someone said "Oh, that will be very useful, I've got just the job for that". Dear God!

Well, when you put it like that Blake it makes Christmas appear one big rip off.
