Linux is evil incarnate!

I always prefered 98se too. Far less memory hogging than xp, and I have heard Vista takes up a huge proportion of memory. I think Microsoft forget that windows is just an operating system and we don't need all of the memory hogging useless add on's to enjoy using our computers.

Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex... It takes a touch of genius - and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction.

Science is continually evolving. Nothing is set in stone. Question everything and everyone. Always consider vested interests as a reason for miss-direction. But most of all explore and find answers that you are comfortable with

All the utilities and memory hogging useless add-on’s that are just there so the salespeople can convince us we are getting value for money perhaps?
Thats what "screening by" RSS feed subscriptions are supposed to do, enable removal of useless update notifications(outside of microsoft update services of can be screened from the control panel).

I liked Mandrake 7 and 8 but the recent in date for the past 3 years i use is Slackware 10.1 and its excellent but for the fact i need a box over 750Mhz and 1GB RAM now. It operates on a 450Mhz 256MB RAM.
