Does Types of Arthritis in Cats help?
Yes as C4M's link says.. many different kinds. My cat had a bit as she aged.. she had gotten hurt a few times and had arthritis settle into some of her joints and caused her more discomfort every year.. She has passed a couple years now.. I really miss her!
moved slow and sauntered in her walk became less graceful and wouldkind of nibble at you if you held her wrong where it hurt... mostly came inside to the heat more and stayed by the fireplace.. she would mew when moving and you could just tell it was more her labored movement..
Chaser...my cat...had been injured a few yrars previous to the athritus... She loved sleeping on the Firewood pile out in the shed... We called her one afternoon at feeding time and she did not come... so before dark I went looking and found her pinned uder some fallen wood. We assumed she had been walking on it or slepping and somthing slipped and the wood stack roled and pinned her under the wood... We took her to the vet.. she had cracked her hip and leg bone.... It took about x weeks or so for her to recover.... she was good for a couple years.. and oddly enough she met with round two at the wood pile.... the boys were Stacking wood this time and she jumped off a shelfand down into the line of fire and a havy chunk bein tossed from the bed of the truck colided into her same hip as she jumped.... it did not break or crack the second time but it sure hurt her! She limped around about two weeks... The vet said it bruised her real bad but she was fine......It was after that that the following winter we noticed her being gimpy right befoe heavy rins.. she seemed tender.. dock did blood work and exray.... she had some severe arthritus that had settled in....It must have been awful painful...she really faored that hip area..
definitely, my last dog had arthritus so i am sure it can afflict most animals!
