thanks for answering my ? no I'm not planning on taking any i think my friend night be addicted to it but other people told me you cant get addicted.

From what I understand, it's not addictive in the same way as cocaine or heroin, more socially addictive.  It's possible to stop without withdrawl symptoms, but people may be tied into the lifestyle.

From a person who knows. No its not.

That dosnt mean you should smoke it, as it is illegal and can be costly.

The tabbaco that is generally mixed with it is however very addictive .

I've had many friends go down that path, and yeah it's the lifestyle and the people you fall in with that makes it hard to stop

Sometimes you basically have to dump your pot smoking buddies just to break the habit, which is very hard to do, as they are real people not just a drug.

Cannabis is less addictive than coffee, and there hasn't been a single verifiable death by cannabis in all of recorded history. Even when horrifically misused, cannabis is safer than tobacco, alcohol, aspirin and water.

But that's not a reason for making it legal. The reason it should be legal is because keeping cannabis illegal is as deadly as making candy illegal. Too many people regard the ban on cannabis sales as a joke and simply buy from "friends", and too many criminals see this unrelenting demand as a quick way of getting rich. The Mexican cartels make two-thirds of their annual incomes from selling cannabis in the U.S., that's $8 - 10 billion a year and provides them with the means and the incentive to kill more than 6,000 people every year in order to protect this income.

Is it a good idea for us to smoke it, no. But is it essential for the government to allow us to commercially produce and sell it to adults, undercutting the cartel prices and ending two-thirds of their incomes, most definitely! We MUST end this brutal murder of children, police officers and politicians!!
