boy, that's a hard question.

Basically, viagra works by blocking the enzyme phosphodiesterase (PDE) or, more specifically, PDE5, which is penile specific. PDE inhibits cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) which is the chemical released by the brain that relaxes smooth muscle.
So by blocking the enzyme that stops the function of smooth muscle relaxing the penis is free to fill and stay fuller for longer.

Does it work in women? Anecdotal evidence suggests that it does.. I think that there is a more specific drug for women with arousal issues.

Yes it did, but I don't think they held it against anyone.....
