Simple elelectricity experiment using a lab rheostat
« on: 07/04/2009 09:44:24 »
I am doing a simple electricity experiment using a rheostat. The idea is to find V for different values of I. I found that I can find V for I=0.1,0.2 & 0.4 A. However I cannot get 0.3 A , however I adjust the rheostat. A new lab rheostat does not solve the problem. Any ideas?

I have found the solution. When it becomes difficult to take readings, just reverse the rheostat connections.
