1]Ball tampering:-

When a feilder or a feilding team tries to or does alter the shine of the ball or manipulate the seam so that they gain an advantage, mainly they can get reverse swing a lot quicker.

2]Hook shot:-

All I know is that to play a short pitch delivery you'll hook the ball and it'll go somewhere in the square region. Otherwise, no idea of the origin. []

3]Mid wicket position:-

No idea. []
I can only guess that it has something to do with the middle of the wicket.

4]Kookaburra ball:-

No idea. []

5]Doosra:-

I believe this word comes from Hindi meaning 'second' or 'other'. It is bowled out of the back of the hand and the ball turns away from the right-hand batsman.

6]Googly:-

Ah, the opposite of the doosra, this is the legspinner's version which turns away from the left-hander.
 

7]Infield:-

The region inside the 30 yard circle is the infield.

8]Yorker:-

Most likely some bowler from Yorkshire was good at bowling yorkers so these deliveries were called 'yorkers' because the batsman who went there had to face them. []

9]Flick:-

You move your wrists to 'flick' the ball, usually onto the on side.

10]Defend:-

When you play with a straight bat, and block the ball from crashing into the wickets or your face as the case might be.

11]Round the wicket:-

When the bowler bowls from around the wicket, for a right-hander, that'll be the right hand side of the wicket.

12]Over the wicket:-

When a bowler bowls from over the wickets, for a right-hander that'll be on the left hand side of the wicket.

13]Pull shot:-

To play a waist high ball you pull it, a horizontal bat across your pads, I have no idea of the origin. It is different to a hook as you play over the ball so it goes to ground.

14]Covers:-

"The fielder who covers point and mid-wicket" was shortened to cover, and the covers are this region of the field.

15]Flight:-

Also known as loop. When the bowler flights the ball above the batsman's eyeline. []
