Thomas asked the Naked Scientists:
For many years I was confused by what the Manhattan Project
was, but now I know, to do with development of the atomic bomb!!
But at about that same time I believe there was another experiment and the name of Philadelphia comes to mind. Maybe this is a myth, I don't know.
It was to do with electro-magnetism somehow whereby a metal warship was moved by some means or other to another location by itself. It apparently just disappeared from one place and reappeared in another
Do you know anything about this ?
Regards Jeff.
What do you think?
