I'm wondering what the smallest thing is that we know of. Smallest thing i can think of are sub-atomic particals but i don't know very much [

I do believe you are correct, we have yet to discover anything smaller. There is string theory or M theory, that basically says everything is made up of tiny strings. I do not remember what they are called. This theory may or may not be correct.
Simply put: sub-atomic partials are the smallest things we are sure about.
