its really out me off answering them, even ones I know I could help with like cell biology etc just in case I inadvertently get something wrong!

this is disappointing. That people are afraid to post something 'in case they get it wrong'. Forums such as this one should be an opportunity to learn. Imagine if our greatest historical thinkers never said a word in case they were wrong..

It seems to have a bit of a reaction, yes. I'm glad that some have expressed their anxieties about it too, which hopefully will mean that there are fewer scoldings towards honest but incorrect answers.

I'm missing sheepy so much that I'm not even tempted to ask off the wall questions anymore as he was the only one the got them. Other people just laugh and say how foolish I am. Science is all about finding the right questions to ask but I'm all asked out at the moment. I will scratch my head, not because I have head lice...no.. I'm just thinking.

Do we know what happened to sheepy, or has he just been banished from the forum until exams are over?

Virtually his last post concerned pain after bike-riding - hope he's ok.

I think Neil has real life to deal with at the moment. Sometimes it creeps up and bites your bum. I guess it must be a big problem as he has been gone for some time. This is the problem with being friends on a forum, you can't go around with some chocolates and a shoulder for your friend to cry on when they are having a rough time. Virtual shoulders just aren't the same and sometimes hiding on a forum is the main cause of that persons problems.
