Photos from your day – any subject
« on: 10/07/2009 20:12:50 »
Following Neil's brilliant pictures of postboxes, walls and drains, how about a thread where anyone can post any pictures from their day?

Here are a few to get started with:

Black cloud over Soho due to fire in Dean Street:

Post Office Tower:

Pigeons eat crisps:

Motorbikes (yellow ones are quite rare):

Escalator (to take me to tube train that will bring me home):

When I swivel in my chair, this is what I see:

As I spend the vast majority of my waking hours in that chair, those pics represent my days very well.

I have to finish with nice pics of my pride & joy (pluralise that as you wish as there are 2 of them but neither "pride & joys" nor "prides & joys" sounded right to me).

Karen are you suggesting that Variola should not keep any children that aren't cute!?

More pictures, please. It would be great if we had at least one picture here for every day of the year.

Even better if you have the date displayed on the photo.

Disappointed with the lack of input from Πeilep so far...

Why would you want ugly children? I think gene selecting should take it to the next step and allow you to choose the sperm / egg most likely to give cute children, and have a no questions asked returns policy if they are not cute enough.

You can't be serious?  Its just an endearing term making Light of th fact that babies are so cute anyway..we just have to keep them! Lol...I think they are all keepers! I believe who ever coined the phrase must have loved children and had a great sense of humor!!
