I would like to get one of those. It would certainly help me complete my daft photo project (only 359 days to go!).

it's an old phone..but a goody....I am sure there are newer better versions avilable though ewe still can get it online.........hang on though...you're photos are brill !!...what are ewe using Mr Herm ?

I have a Sony digital camera that's about four years old. I'm fairly happy with it, but it does feel bulky and is hard to fit into a pocket.

I know exactly how ewe feel.

This is my sony...it must be about 8 years old now...and it's well bulky and very slow...but still takes good piccies though !

Well, if you really want BIG.....

Quote from:  Gizmodo.com
On Monday the world's biggest camera took the world's biggest picture - a not very wallet-friendly 31' by 111'. The camera body was an aircraft hangar, the film was cloth soaked in light sensitive chemicals and the exposure was a tedious ten days. Of course, there are limited options with a camera this big, and it can only snap whatever happens to be in front of it - a disused Marine Corps Air Station.
All in all then, this is one useless, but awesome, camera. The unusual undertaking was the work of the Legacy Project, done in order to get into the Guinness Book of Records.
And this is yet bigger still? Wow how does that work Don?

Edinburgh's camera obscura is quite bulky ... http://www.camera-obscura.co.uk/camera_obscura/camera_obscura.asp

[but more like a Victorian version of HDTV than still photography].

A Wind Powered Generator Being Rather Unwindyfied !

I just took the above piccy a few minutes ago and I had a chat with the bloke who was attending to it.
We had a nice chat....he says he gets little wind but a lot of turbulance..(I wanted to make a baked bean joke at this juncture but chose not to ).........does this mean he will never really realise it's full potential ?

What A Load Of Rubbish !
Some Rubbish Bins Juts A Few Minutes Ago

Are you sure they weren't pin-hole cameras ...
Quote
Making and using a wheely bin camera.

1, Find and clean a wheely bin. (I found mine next door!)
2, Cut a hole in the side and insert an aluminium pinhole of around 2mm.
3, Buy a 6m x 142cm roll of photographic paper. (A snip at £65-00!).
4, Trim down a 142cm x 100cm sheet and tape it around the inside of the bin.
5, Tape down the lid and place a light-tight ‘shutter’ over the pinhole.
6, Cart it off to the seaside or top of Ben Nevis. (bus drivers love them!)
7, Expose the paper for 8 minutes in sunlight.
8, Wheel it back to the darkroom / bath.
9, Take out the paper and tape it above the bath. Sponge on Dev, Stop and Fix.
10, Wash down the final print with a shower attachment.

As made by this pin-hole camera obsessive ....

[No it's done with not Photoshop: the pin-hole camera is a 110 film cartridge in his mouth].

I am strangely impressed with the above! I had no idea pinhole cameras could be used in that way!
