The lugs (joints) have a hemp fiber core and a carbon exterior.  I used epoxy resin.

I like the Flying Pigeon but it's loosely based on a bike called the Surly Long Haul Trucker (a touring bicycle).
It's slightly longer and has longer chain stays (the rear wheel is farther aft).

The Long Haul Trucker overlaid.
The double top tube is to stiffen the frame so it won't have so much flex when fully loaded.

Thats Excellent... There have been a  couple of those long haul truckers around here too.

How much does one of your Bikes cell for or do you sell them Allen?

How do you make the drop outs, and if so what are they made of? Do you include a derailer hanger on the back?

My boyfriend and I met for lunch today and drove past the prison. It just so happens that the roos like to hang out in the field that surround it because nobody is allowed to set foot there. I constantly keep my camera with me because photography is one of my passions and I love to send pictures to my family back in the states.

I make them for my own enjoyment.
It's getting time that I make them for others though.

The dropouts are metal, I buy them from a framebuilding supply shop.

The head tube and bottom bracket shell are metal as well.

This frame does not have a derailer hanger.  I'm using an internal gear hub with it.

Karen, you're right. Your confidence tells me you deserve all that and much. much more! I've asked Washington to divert some of the bailout funds to your raise, and I've written to Neilep Electronics, Ltd., in London to ship you their top-of-the-line cutting edge, high end surround sound system, which comes with a fulltime, 24/7, handsome Audio Technician to adjust sound, tone, volume per your whims and moods day or night!

I hope you will forgive my reckless and foolish statements which dared to put limits on Your Worth!!!

Last weekend 'er indoors and I, together with our daughter and her 'im indoors, took out a narrowboat on the Grand Union Canal in Northamptonshire.

Here are some pics of our journey through the 2.8 kilometer Blisworth Tunnel. Its cold, dark and damp down thar!

Water from the hills above the tunnel

There's light at the end of the tunnel

What a beautiful outcome. So pretty.. It sounded like fun...
Looks like your weather was perfect for the day! Nice pictures!

I picked up a old fiberglass wooden framed flat bottom cannoe for a nice project! Needs some cleaning and some new fiberglass coatings.. I want to see of I can revamp it.. I have never done much with fiberglass other then a bit of car fixes... So I want to try!

Any advice on fixing it up?

I would only advise caution with fibre glass, I find it a terrible irritant.

Dang sorry about the caps!

Pretty close. Maybe 10-15 feet away (can't quite remember). They didn't seem to care very much but they did keep an eye on me :)
