It's a personal thing, really. I don't take offence if I see other people eating meat. It's just not for me.

I think the best reason to be a vegetarian is because meat consumption uses more of the worlds resources than veg. I'm not a vegetarian but I have cut my meat consumption. I do find I need the iron that red meat provides though.
