So this will be my second poetry thread... Karen made some excellent ones last time, and the topic we seemed to adhere to was love.

This time let it be its antithesis... hate.  [!]

I hate the way you smile at me,
making me feel like misery,

as though she does not care,
Though at thought my heart could not bare,

I hate the way he ruins my smile,
as though the love is set on trials,

I wonder sometimes whether it's worth it,
Or end it and jump into the bottomless pit,

I hate it when she tells me i'm wrong,
but she loves me when i sing her a song,

on the wildest of expectations,
she surprises on her illuminations,

I hate it when he gives me a shove in the back,
sometimes i drain, i just want to hit the sack,

but i like it when he joins with me,
and telling the rest a little too free...

so i hate it.

Poverty of hate.



Hate is a hot iron,
that can sear the mind.
With coals of envy,
and wounds of many kind.

The price is much higher,
when one chooses to hate.
Than that for the hated,
and greater misery the fate.

So choose well your course,
and remember there's a price.
For every contemptous rage,
and every tortured vice.

Hate is a natural human emotion for some of us One that we never or (would rather not) put a tag on called ''hate'' - displeased... is that lighter, because if anything, you're very good at poetry.

No, I know hate, but also know the destruction it brings to my heart and life if I allow it to live inside of myself... like a egg that rots from the inside out..it is awful.
