Does anyone know if a laser pointer has enough output, at a range of say 30m, to damage a CCD as used in the more modern digital speed cameras ?[?]

I would doubt it as the laser pointer is designed not to damage your eyes and I would be surprised if the speed camera is more easily damaged than your eye..
Do I want to know why?
