Blood vessels narrow, (
vasoconstriction
), in an attempt to reduce blood loss and maintain blood pressure.

I think that if we start to lose too much blood our veins get smaller and thinner than before because it contains only blood and if we lose it than it will definitely becomes thinner than before.
