Talking about conspiracy theories ...

Is "cansouth" just Neil's alter-ego, and this whole thread is just a clever ploy to promote the posting of pictures on this forum??? [:o)]

The illegal satellite signals are dangerous, because they disturbe people.

If you observe the increase of the blinking or increased hand movements, you can report it to Interpol or other authorities.

If you do not observe any effects of the illegal signals, you are not especial useful in this case. (Except the forum owners who let this thread exist. Thanks to them.)

When I discuss this matter elsewhere, the blinking increase is often "explained" by modern tv-cameras, or more lights in tv studios.

But these described hand movements are easy too observe. Especially on people who are relaxed, for instance parliament politicians who listen to others speeches. You can see these movements "everywhere".

It is a question if some of you can observe the increased frequency and maybe also the intensity of these hand movements.

I am not joking. Satellites are hacked, and the hacker sends illegal signals into peoples brains. These signals cause different behaviour to human beings.

The hacker could send even more dangerous signals if he wants.

That reminds me i must change my profile picture.

Cansouth. If i was to touch my face with my left hand rather than my right would it mean anything.

Or am i just being paranoid or silly[:D] you can tell me, be blunt

Can I just ask (in case the point has completely missed me) but what are the illegal hacking of pictures that make hand gestures and blinking of eyes exaggerated supposed to indicate ?

I realise you (cansouth) say that they cause different behaviour to human beings but what does that mean ?....

It's not as if I originally thought Saddam was a great bloke who has been hard done by and that these pictures have made me see him in a poorer light !! We just want some credible explanation as to what you mean.

I think the hand gesture this thread deserves involves a slightly-clenched fist being moved up & down [:D]

Well maybe the most interesting aspect of this thread is just how long will it be before the conspiracy nutters take this as evidence of 'the truth' just because it is on so many similar discussion boards (try a Google search to see). I am quite interested in how adherence to daft conspiracies - mostly using pretty spurious evidence on the net - is developing as a kind of pseudo belief system. It is a fascinating example of how information is spread and how 'facts' can be so misinterpreted.

Neil,
do you think we could run a competition for the worst pun ever posted on TNS?

My nomination would be for the above one from Eth:

Anyway, how do you know it's a private person? Why not the CIA? Or, as it seems to be Arabs in all your photos, MOSSAD? Come on, put up or shut up!

I am not a technical expert, but I think it is like this:

A. The person which has hacked satellites, probably uses private equipment to reach the satellites directly. Then the companies, which are technical responsible for the satellites, do not observe the hacking.

B. Normal satellite signals are so large that they do not get into the brains of human beings. But the hacker sends very fine small signals which enter inside peoples brains. These signals then hit nerve systems or functions systems in peoples brains. Then the hacker can make human beings behave different than normal.

C. Thin metal protection will probably not help. Normally the brain cranium stops at least large parts of satellite signals.

The illegal satellite signals are so fine (high-resolution) that they enter through the cranium and metal.

When hospitals do brain scanning, signals enter through the brain cranium.

Articles about brain scanning:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/4715327.stm [nofollow]

D. If you observe the increase in the mentioned hand movements, you can report it to:

Interpol

OK, it's not that difficult to build a microwave transmitter powerful enough to broadcast to a satellite. You'd only need a power output of 25-50W to do it. A tweaked microwave oven, a length of waveguide and a satellite dish would be more than adequate (as microwave ovens work at 2.4GHz & satellite altimetry is in the 12-18GHz range it would need changes to capacitors & transistors, and then some fine tuning. But for someone who knows what he's doing, not too difficult).
Right, now let's assume that this mysterious person has found a way to broadcast at satellite altimetry frequencies without being detected by the massive arrays used by government agencies to monitor all transmissions on exactly those frequencies (broadcast & comms satellites work in the same band). That means it's someone who has access to top-level security data from the U.S., Britain, Russia, Israel etc. so he knows how those arrays work, thus being able to avoid detection (all of those systems work differently & utilise parts from different suppliers, so it can't be a design engineer).
Let's also assume that the companies who run the satellites are so inept they simply don't realise that someone's playing silly buggers with them. Or maybe their monitoring systems have also been tampered with!.
Finally, let's suppose that this chap has discovered a way to affect people's behaviour with microwave transmissions
So,  we're looking for a microwave whizz-kid with top-level security clearance in every technologically advanced country, who is so good he's even managed to fool the satellite companies, who is a genius neuroscientist, and who has no sense of humour (I say no sense of humour because why would he just make people touch their faces? Wouldn't it be a lot more fun to make them touch their genitals? Or someone else's genitals? That would have caused a real hoot during the US presidential live debates!). Quite a guy, eh!
He shouldn't be that difficult to find. If I do come across him I shall most certainly report him - to Dr Doolally from Lala Land!

Cansouth can also be found here http://www.scienceagogo.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=print_topic;f=1;t=000451

So Cansouth, you seem to be persistant in your posts but inconsistent in responding to specifics.

I still want to know WHY people would do this. To say it disturbs people just doesn't seem to cut it with me I want to know specifically why someone with the means as described by drbeaver is doing this.

Cansouth, you just seem to be making claims and spreading the word from one forum to another....pehaps there is no hacking of satellites and it's just YOU making some conspiracy noise !

Maybe when the holiday season is over you'll be returned to the ward for a medical top up eh ?

shall I delete this thread Peeps ?

I think the hacker consider it to be a kind of art.
