Well, so far doing great...ate some dried cranberries, a slimfast...yeah, did not have the temptation of a croissant...

I will attempt a piece of chicken...but have soup for back up...and then peanutbutter for later to get my protein...looking for all protein substitutes...since meat is pretty tasteless to me lately...

then maybe some veggies tonight...

Yes indeedy!! My stomach is upset and I can't eat!! I have rotten sour burps and intestinal pain and have had this before and landed in the hospital... I hope not this time I hate the hospital!!! YuckkkkkkkY!!

HELLO EVERYONE!!

Sorry I haven't been on here in a while!  I wanted to wish everyone a very MERRY CHRISTMAS since I didn't have time to before!  I hope everyone had a lovely day!  I also want to wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR!  I'm with Josephina - I hope that when the New Year rings in - our weight goes out!!!   []

Well, I had been doing really well.  I never got to post my weight loss for 12/18 but it was a 2 lb. loss so I was down a total of 23 lbs.  However, with baking & eating some cookies and then celebrating Christmas for 3 straight days, it totally knocked me off of my routine.  On Christmas day I was up a 1/2 a lb. which doesn't sound bad but I have since been horrible with my eating this week.  Today, however, is a different day.  I made a vow to myself that I am getting back on track - starting today because eating like I was made me feel rotten.  So I am kind of afraid to weigh myself this Monday but at least I will be back on track again.

Also, I am glad to finally be able to say that I got my mom to see our family doctor because she was still so sick and not able to breathe, had no energy, felt like crap, etc.  He upped all of her meds and put her on an antibiotic and she is now finally getting better.  This all started right after Thanksgiving!!  That is a looonnnggg time to feel like garbage!  I guess because she was so irritated in her bronchial passages - it got inflamed and caused asthma  - then she wasn't getting enough oxygen to her blood because of it and the meds that the ER doc gave her weren't strong enough.  This all made her weak and even more out of breath when she would just try to walk across a room!  I was so scared because I knew she was really bad.  I guess her oxygen level in her blood was terrible when she finally went in to see our doctor.  She just kept thinking the ER doctor's medicine would start working and that she just needed to give it time.  She went to ER twice for this and got the same doctor both times!!  I didn't like him at all so I kept pushing her to see our doctor - I am sure glad I did!  So I helped her wrap Christmas gifts and helped clean her house, put stuff away, etc.  That is why I haven't been on in a while.  I was kind of stressed out with everything I needed to get done until Christmas Eve.  Then things started getting better.

I woke up this morning with a sore throat.  My daughter was sick on Christmas Eve with a cold that is much better now but I think that is what I am getting.  Love that kind of a gift - don't you - the one that spreads through the family and keeps on giving!! []

Karen - your Christmas images on here were beautiful.  I don't know how you did that but it was really neat!  You'll have to tell me what you did sometime!

Well, I guess I'd better go - just wanted to check in with all of you and tell you how much I missed you all!  Have a great New Year!  I'll try to post my weight loss/gain on Monday.  I have my almost 3 yr. old nephew today and overnite tonight bec. my sister is going to Chicago w/her husband to stay overnite and see the Blue Man Group.  Lucky them!!  Then Sunday I'm going to try to take the kids to a show because we don't have much time left on Christmas Break before they go back and we haven't really done anything.

Well good news!  I have not weighed lately, but I just put on a pair of jeans(still an 18)but they did not fit me from a year ago...I can wear them!  yeah!  I will not get on that blasted scale if I can continue doing this...I will continue to watch my intake of the type of food...but living without much bread...is killing me!  I don't mean Roberta Flack killing me softly either!  :-P

LOL  That  is great!  I have Hadrians method stuck in my head and I am sticking with it now...eating until I am full but I am also watching the type of food...It is a good sign as this is a small size 18 and probably will try some of my larger 16 to see if this big ole butt is going  down!  lol

Hi Karen, no he is home for good, no returns for now. We are still adjusting to one another and it feels like we are starting all over again. With God's will we will make it. Our families are doing well. My grand daughter is getting so big. Take care.
