Why Did This Satsuma Grow Like This ?
« on: 19/06/2010 14:33:44 »

Dearest Satsuma-ologists,

How are ewe ?...well ?...I'm Ok...my feet are sore but apart from that I'm fine. I'm so glad we had this chat.

As a sheepy I of course luff citrus fruits. Citrus fruits are my all time favourite fruity things that are like...well citrusy !...

Take a look at this satusma I had just the other day ?

A Satsuma I Had Just The Other Day

Nice eh ?

Notice how non uniform the segments are ?..how ill proportioned they have become ?

why's that then ?..how did that happen ?....

The need to know is rather urgent as I plan to have another satusma quite soon and if I had the answer to this question then it will save me being startled next time this occurs.

Thank ewe for your kind consideration in this matter.

hugs & shmishes

mwah mwah mwah !!

Is that a tangerine or type of nectarine? I have never heard of a Satsuma, other then a Satsuma Plum!

It is just a mutation generated by the act of nature. I seen this in most citrus line of oranges, all store bought fruit.
As long as it doesn't speak out with a yell, or wabble as it walks, your safe.
I'll take a a case of those citrus mutant from Japan any day of the week. Pass on the fruit flies

Thank ewe very much Tommy.  I wonder why nature causes this kind of mutation ?...an imperfection somewhere maybe ?...anyway..it was very tasty and very juicy !......It fortunately did not protest as I consumed it......which is nice !

Is the joke about the Dutch Prog Rock group called Focus ?

Actually, the photos were taken on my antiquated mobile phone in the staff canteen and I had to be discreet because I did not want to appear bonkers being seen taking pictures of my citrus fruit !!

I don't know that one. No - it was about some Irish ladies who were having their photograph taken.

Neil...sshhh...over here....has no one discovered that you are bonkers yet? Gosh your new work mates must be really thick. My boss told me at my appraisal on Wednesday that she knows that I am only pretending to enjoy my job and that I act all the time. She suggested that I should try to be myself more often. What she doesn't know is that if I was myself, I would be completely bonkers and tell all the teachers I have to train to grow up and stop taking yourselves so seriously. I would also set fire to my desk and run around the office naked.

Sorry Neil but your fruit has grown a bum segment. I thick it is evolving into an orange-a-tan.

I'd prefer to track down the self serving personnel pillock that invented appraisals and set them on fire  [;D]
