I am looking for a compound similar to sodium polyacrylate that will absorb many times it's weight in water and will form a dense gel rather than a mushy jelly like substance. Is there a different polymer that will do this or is there something you could add to a SAP that will give me the results I am looking for? Thanks for your help!
