I know that spider silk only turns to silk when it hits air, and that it is liquid inside the spider.
what i don't get is how a spider can produce so much silk in a day. does it actualy have a limit as to how much silk that it can produce in a day; Pluss where does it get the energy to produce this vast amount of silk. surely it can't get a huge amount of energy from it's food
